Where is the wedding venue?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Cedar Haven in Sooke, BC. Cedar Haven is a Private Property Venue in the woods, nestled in the old growth rain forest on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Find it on a map here.
Is there on site parking?
Yes, there is on site parking.
Is the venue accessible?
The venue driveway can be quite steep, but there will be a golf cart to transport individuals needing assistance with walking to or from the ceremony site.
Is this a child-friendly wedding?
While we adore your children, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have been allotted a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation. If you are unsure, please contact us.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP yes or no by May 25, 2023 at the latest. After this date, the guest list will be finalized and we will not be able to accept any further RSVP's.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family dressed up for our big day. Our wedding will be published, so any guests not in the desired colours or attire may not be included in our photos. Briefly, our dress code is semi-formal,

When should I arrive to the ceremony?
We hope to start on time at 2pm. Please plan to arrive around 1:30pm to ensure you get your seat in time for the ceremony and get to enjoy the performance from our string quartet. View the wedding day timeline here.
Will there be transportation provided?
It will be up to each guest to find their way to the wedding venue. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.
I don't live in the area, where can I stay?
We encourage you to make a weekend getaway trip out of this! You're welcome to arrange your own accommodation or you can stay at the Sooke Prestige hotel in one of the rooms we have blocked off for our wedding guests. You can find more information about accommodations here.
Where can I find your registry?
We do not have a registry. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift to us. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a cash gift would be greatly appreciated as we are saving for our honeymoon, future home, and future family. You can find more info here.
